General Return and Exchange Policy

At AllThingsScent, we do not offer returns or exchanges on any products. As our items are carefully handmade, each product is unique, and we do not accept returns due to customer preference, change of mind, or other reasons unrelated to product defects or damage incurred during shipping.

Damaged Products

In the rare event that your product arrives damaged, we are here to help. Please review the following instructions on how to report a damaged item:

Reporting a Damaged Product

If you receive an item that appears damaged upon arrival, you must notify us within 72 hours of delivery. To initiate a claim for a damaged product, please email us at [email protected] with the following information:

1. Order number: This helps us quickly locate your order in our system.
   
2. Description of the damage: Provide a clear explanation of the damage to the product.
   
3. Photographic evidence: Attach clear, high-resolution photographs showing the damage. Photographs should include close-up shots of the damaged area, as well as the entire product.
   

Damage Review Process

Upon receiving your claim, our team will thoroughly review the photographs and description provided. We will assess whether the damage is valid and falls within the scope of our Damaged Product Policy (outlined below).

Damaged Product Criteria

For the purposes of this policy, damaged products are defined as those with physical defects or malfunctions that affect the functionality or integrity of the item. This includes:

• Cracks, chips, or breaks in the wand or tube.
  
• Malfunctions that prevent the product from working as intended.
  

What is Not Considered Damage

Please note that the following are not considered damage:

• Minor air spaces or gaps that may form when the wand is removed. These are natural and do not affect the function or quality of the product.
  
• Color variations or slight imperfections. As our products are handmade, slight differences in color or texture are to be expected and are not considered defects.
  

We encourage you to take a moment to review the nature of handmade products and keep in mind that variations are part of their charm.

Resolution Options

Once the damage claim is validated, we will offer one of the following resolutions, at our discretion:

• Refund: A full or partial refund will be issued, depending on the extent of the damage.
  
• Replacement: A replacement product will be sent to you if the damage is deemed significant and within our policy guidelines.
  

Gift Card Alternative

In certain cases, we may offer a gift card to the buyer as an alternative resolution to a damaged product claim. This will be issued based on the nature of the claim and at our discretion.

Return Shipping Costs

If a damaged product is eligible for return or replacement, AllThingsScent will cover the cost of return shipping. We will provide you with a prepaid return label for this purpose.

Important Notes:

• Timeliness: Claims for damaged products must be made within 72 hours of receiving the item. Any claims submitted after this period will not be eligible for a refund, replacement, or resolution.
  
• Handmade Nature: Please understand that handmade products can have inherent variations, and some minor imperfections are normal. These will not be grounds for a return or refund unless they significantly affect the product's functionality.

Handmade Product Variations

Please note that many of the items in our store are handmade, and as such, each product may feature slight differences from one another. Our lip gloss and body care products may exhibit variations in both color and texture. Additionally, when the wand is removed from the lip gloss tubes, a bubble may appear. This is a normal occurrence, and depending on the formula of certain lip glosses, these bubbles may be more pronounced. By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept these natural variations.

At AllThingsScent, we make every effort to display product colors accurately on our website. However, please be aware that the actual colors of the products you receive may vary due to factors such as your monitor's settings, the display quality, and the handmade nature of the items. We do not guarantee that the color displayed on your screen will perfectly match the color of the product you receive.
